Welcome to my blog. My name is Lyn Nunn and I live in Australia. I like to travel the world and research my family history. I am often lucky enough to combine the two.

I have been researching my family tree for over 20 years. Many of my ancestors have taken me all over the world to find out about them. It has been an interesting and challenging journey, sometimes quite frustrating and, at other times, very rewarding. I admire immensely the initiative many of them had to go and explore opportunities for a different life, sometimes staying in a variety of places before they finally settled. Others I admire for their ability to make the best of new lands when they came not of their own accord, and others for making the most of what they had where they were.

This blog is about my adventures researching my family history, treasures I have been given or found and things I have learnt or wonder about along  the way.
